Regional Seminar
The regional seminar, a key component of the orientation period and pro-seminar, takes place over a three-day weekend at the beginning of the semester in the picturesque and rural region of Auvergne. Designed to show students France beyond its capital city, this seminar offers an immersive experience filled with guided tours of historical sites, hikes surrounded by stunning natural beauty and delicious discoveries of regional specialties.
Cultural Activities
Students’ cultural learning and discovery outside of coursework is an integral aspect of Brown in Paris. The program organizes a variety of opportunities for students to experience the local cultural scene in Paris. These include culinary and oenology workshops, artistic performances, exhibitions and more.
While some of the most popular activities are organized every semester, the program also offers tickets to an ever-changing selection of cultural activities around Paris. These activities allow students to discover parts of the Parisian cultural scene they might not have otherwise encountered.
