Application Instructions for Visiting Students (Non-Brown)
***If you are a Brown student, please see the Study Abroad Advising website for instructions on how to apply to a Brown/CASA Global Program. If you are a student from a CASA member school, please contact your home school study abroad office.***
Summer 2025 & Fall 2025 applications for Brown/CASA programs are now open. Please follow these instructions to submit a visiting student application:
- Visit the specific link below for your desired program.
- Click the pink “Apply” button and you will be prompted to create an account.
- To create an account, click the gray “Sign Up” button and select “Brown University” as your organization.
- Follow the instructions within to complete your visiting student application.

Deadlines
Please make note of the following deadlines for Fall 2025 Programs:
- Saturday, February 1: Preferred Application Deadline
- Thursday, February 27: Post-Acceptance Commitment Deadline for Brown in Bologna
- Saturday, March 1: Final Application Deadline*
- Saturday, March 15: Post-Acceptance Commitment Deadline for Brown in Paris & all CASA Programs
* February 1 is both the preferred AND final application deadline for the Brown in Bologna program.
Please make note of the following deadlines for Summer 2025 programs. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
- Saturday, February 1: Preferred Application Deadline
- Saturday, March 1: Final Application Deadline
- Friday, March 7: Admissions Decision
- Saturday, March 15: Commitment Deadline
General Eligibility
We welcome all degree-seeking students from four-year, U.S. accredited universities to apply to Brown/CASA programs. As part of the application process, students are asked to obtain study abroad approval from their home school study abroad advisor. Students who are applying to a Brown/CASA program independently should provide proof of enrollment at a four-year, U.S. accredited university.
