Cultivating an inclusive environment through sustained engagement that starts with international orientation and that encourages cross cultural dialogue and learning throughout the Brown Open Curriculum and global experiences are essential not only to students’ success, but for all members of the community looking to understand the larger world in which Brown is situated.

Central Goals

The ongoing efforts and activities of Global Brown Diversity and Inclusion Plan are anchored by three central goals: 

• build and bridge community among international students and scholars, 
• enhance knowledge and learning opportunities for Brown community members engaged in supporting international students and scholars at Brown,
• cultivate communities of shared practice to support collaborative initiatives on inclusive strategies in global education and engagement.
